
LONDON – A study conducted Infonetics Research says that the percentage of smart phone sales increased in the world and contribute to the growth of mobile phone sales.
According to Research Infonetic, this triggered the widespread availability of access to high-speed data network in the U.S. states, Europe, and Asia Pacific. This enables smart phone users can access data and enjoy multimedia services with the Internet through their handset.

“Smart phone contributed approximately 14.5 in increasing the number of mobile sales units sold worldwide in 2009. Mobile smart also contribute a percentage of 21 percent in the rate of annual mobile phone sales growth from 2008 until now,” said Infonetics Research analyst Richard Webb quoted from the Telegraph, Saturday (7/11/2009).

Nokia still ruled the mobile phone market share, followed by other phone vendors such as Research in Motion with Blackberry and Apple with their flagship phone, the iPhone.
