CALIFORNIA – After almost a year, Intel&Atom chip to bring such a popular netbook, the company re-announced the latest Intel Atom processor with integrated graphics capabilities in the CPU. By using the new Atom, the netbook will have higher performance with a smaller design and energy efficient. The leading OEMs have committed to remove the system using the Intel Atom processor and supporting chipset within the next few weeks. The latest Intel platform comes with Intel Atom N450, and NM10 Intel Express Chipset for netbook which has a lower power consumption.

While basic-level desktop PC using the Intel Atom processor D410 or D510 that has two core, which is then paired with the Intel Express Chipset NM10. Atom processor design has been adapted for small devices and has a low electrical consumption, and still is Intel's smallest chip, built using a 45nm production process of high-k metal gate. All parts of platforms, including the chipset, packed in a smaller size because of the integration process and production systems in smaller 45nm. quot;Intel Atom processor has opened a new category in the computing world for one and a half years back and we believe that this development will continue with devices such as netbooks and basic level of desktop PCs built in accordance with fundamental computing activities and patterns of Internet use," said Eden Moody, Vice President and General Manager of Intel&PC Client Group. quot;We can not wait to launch the latest generation Atom platform and work with all parties in the industry who are entering this next growth phase, supports the innovative system design with better performance, which tracks smaller emissions and batteries last longer," added. N450 is a single core Atom processor using L2 cache 512k and devices for 7 watts TDP, including chipsets. While a desktop PC D410 to the basic level is the Atom processor with one core that has a L2 cache and device 512k TDP of 12 watts, including chipsets, and desktop PC D510 to the basic level are the two core Atom processor with L2 cache and device 1meg TDP of 15 watts including chipset.
Processor
The opportunity to speak at Intel Developer Forum, Pat Gelsinger described Intel’s roadmap that will continue forward with higher performance and computing with efficient power usage. Pat Gelsinger, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Intel’s Digital Enterprise Group also discussed the latest features of next-generation processor from Intel, including a new turbo mode that shifts the processor into a higher speed to an impressive increase in performance without significant increase in heat .

The first Intel processor for desktop PCs will be referred to as the processor Intel (R) Core ™ i7, and will begin energy-efficient, products high-performance server (with namasandi “Nehalem-EP”) will be produced pertamana times. Intel also plans to produce a second derivative processor server designed for the expandable server market ( “Nehalem-EX”), and desktop ( “Havendale” and “Lynnfield”) and mobile ( “Auburndale” and “Clarksfield”) client version in the second half 2009.

“Our experts have designed a series of processors, including some incredible new processor with all the features to provide faster performance with energy efficiency is remarkable,” said Gelsinger.

The next-generation Core microarchitecture also features Intel (r) Hyper-Threading Technology * which provides the ability to 8-threaded performance on 4 cores in the initial versions and best memory bandwidth with the new QuickPath Interconnect. Technology QuickPath connects processors, chipsets and memory, and can provide memory bandwidth three times higher than the previous Core microarchitecture solutions.

Intel Xeon processor X7460 with 6 cores and 16MB for the L3 cache server will be launched in September, and has solved some of the world’s best performance records. An IBM server System x * 3950 M2 with 8-socket became the first successful platform beyond the boundaries of the 1 million tpmC TPC *- C benchmark Note the best record for 4-socket including for TPC *- C on HP Proliant * DL580 G5, TPC *- E on Dell PowerEdge * R900, SPECjbb * 2005 on Sun Fire * X4450 and SPECint * _rate2006 on Fujitsu-Siemens PRIMERGY * RX600 S4.

Gelsinger also discussed the product with a lot of the first core, a design Intel Architecture (IA), codenamed “Larrabee”. Expected in 2009 and 2010 the first product to use Larrabee, targeted to the needs of personal computers for graphics, which supports DirectX and OpenGL, and able to run games and the latest programs. Larabee is expected to start industrial development efforts to create and optimize software to run on dozens, hundreds and thousands of processor cores that will be used in future computers.

Executives from Intel is also reiterated Intel’s vision for the next Internet wave, called the Embedded Internet. The emerging market for embedded computing opportunities in IP networking and security, video intelligence, medical, car infotainment and home automation can greatly benefit from the device that is always connected to the Internet. Gelsinger said that this area is a growing opportunity for Intel and the high-tech industries other, and it is estimated there will be 15 billion devices will connect to the Internet and will lead to the rapid development of embedded internet.

Where the “On-the-Go” for Mobile Computing?
