San Francisco – By the end of 2009, approximately 1.3 billion image sensor technology will be shipped to the world, including variants of CMOS and CCD. Then in 2012, image sensor shipments will reach two billion units.
Launched by Digitimes, Monday (12/10/2009), a research firm iSuppli predicts these features will dominate the mobile market in 2010. In that year, more than 1 billion image sensors will complement the handset-enabled handsets in circulation. But do not close the possibility of image sensors in other electronic devices will increase as well.
